Trying not to skip breakfast

So.. I have a problem I almost always skip breakfast and why?? well because I LOVE breakfast but I hate it when I have to have it on the run and I can't sit down and enjoy some eggs and some nice toast or some kind of pastry.
I have never been good at eating cereal, usually the 3rd day that I have cereal I get sick of it so usually I just get some tea or coffee and forget about breakfast if I am on the run and if I am at home and I don't feel like cooking I just skip it and wait for lunch.. all of these BAD HABITS!!! our body needs fuel to do things in the morning so skipping breakfast is not good.
In trying to redeem my wicked ways I've been trying to eat fruit every morning (I am also trying to loose some weight and eat healthier), so I've been making some delicious fruit salad (you know apples, peaches, cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes and some pecans all thrown together) and this morning I made some nice blueberry oat scones from bon app├ętit, you can find the recipe here.... they are good but I feel like there is something missing and I think next time I might try raspberries instead of blueberries.

My breakfast today

so.. do any of you have any recommendations on other breakfast foods that I should try in order to redeem my wicked ways?? (just no oatmeal please.. can't deal with the texture)

I love breakfast but am no stranger to being to busy to prepare a proper one! What about crepes? You can prep the batter the night before so all you have to do in the morning in pour and cook (which just takes a minute) :) Then you can fill it with that lovely fruit salad you've got there!

I don't normally eat much for breakfast. Usually I have some tea and yogurt. Sometimes I have cereal or toast or a scone from Second Cup with more coffee. I'm usually on the run in the mornings too.

Yogurt Smoothies. Or carnation Instant Breakfast blended with strawberries or blueberries....yum. I am the same way. Most mornings I skip breakfast or just don't have time which is a very abd habit when you are trying to keep up with baby!
